About Me

Meet Cait: Mom of two boys, running enthusiast, deeply rooted in nature.

I am a licensed mental health counselor with over 15 years of experience helping individuals, children, and families navigate life’s challenges. I also hold a masters degree in Special Education with a focus on moderate disabilities in grades K-8, and I am a certified yoga teacher.  As a parent of two young children, I believe strongly in the importance of finding balance through self care.

I’ve spent the majority of my career in school based settings, working as a therapeutist and teacher at an outplacement therapeutic school, as well as providing individual therapy to children and parents.  My expertise is in working with children with anxiety, ADHD, ASD, and mood disorders who may be struggling to thrive at home, in a traditional school setting, or in their social realm.  I have extensive experience in collaborating with school systems and in writing and understanding IEPs.  I believe strongly in collaboration with caregivers in order to better understand each unique family structure and system and I strive to enable caregivers with the necessary tools to understand themselves and to navigate the challenges that may arise as a caregiver. I am committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where children and families can feel heard, understood, and supported.

My approach is direct and goal oriented. I believe strongly in collaboration. Together, we will create deep roots for lasting growth.

“The roots of resilience... are to be found in the sense of being understood by and existing in the mind and heart of a loving, attuned, and self-possessed other.” — Diana Fosha

My Philosophy

I believe in a holistic, individualized approach to therapy, focusing on the whole family system and considering the unique strengths and challenges of each individual. My therapeutic methods are evidence-based and grounded in empathy, trust, and understanding.  I incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, Attachment-Based Therapy, Trauma-Informed Therapy, and mindfulness and relaxation techniques.

I offer a collaborative approach to therapy that honors the full complexity of who you are. My work emphasizes nervous system regulation as a foundation for healing and resilience. I strive to create a holding environment—a steady, attuned space where you can feel grounded, co-regulated, and deeply seen. Within this relationship, we build the conditions for trust, curiosity, and growth to naturally take root—so you can move forward with greater clarity, calm, and connection to yourself.
